I think that they'll do some major plot arc for the 100th episode involving Reverse Flash. He's historically been in every season in some capacity, and what better time to have him come back than in the 100th episode of the series? Hell, Arrow did this and then some in their 100th episode, what with having Dark Archer, Slade, League of Asssassins, and Damien Darhk all there. It'll be interesting what plot twist Nora has involved, and we saw from the endslate to this episode that she definitely is here for another reason. Body language is something actors have to have nailed down as well, and the interaction between Sherloque and Nora at the end there definitely spell some greater plot involved.
We already know Cicada isn't the main villain of the season – we've been told that there are three major arcs going on. One is Cicada, another is likely Caitlin's father, and the third is Nora, but they set up this season with Nora, and she also was around at a bunch of "random" times in last season. Whatever her story is is likely the real arc of the season. Cicada is likely just a lead-in.
I think Iris was a pretty distant mother, who was obsessed with finding Barry for Nora's entire childhood – so they never really bonded. Somehow Nora got the idea that the satellite business was a major event or just a great opportunity to change the timeline and eventually stop Barry from disappearing altogether to save her entire family.
Flash is the DC universe's Dream
I thought the stuff with Barrys mom was really well handled. Can't get enough Cisco(I hope he finds his way to legends of tomorrow so he can become his own hero). I think the Iris Barry relationship should just happen already so the can build Iris character up threw them being together. Barry's bio dad is so fucking dead. But I have a feeling that the guy under the iron mask is Earth 2 Jay Garrick(who is the counter part of Earth 1 Henry Allen). And I wonder if earth 2 Black canary is going to stick around after season finale.
The Flash: Into the Multiverse.
Alright, let's do this one last time. My name is Barry Allen and I am the fastest man alive. I was struck by lightning and for five years I've been the one and only Flash. I'm pretty sure you know the rest. I saved a bunch of people, fell in love, saved the city, and then I saved the city again and again and again… And, uh… I did this.
We don't really talk about this. Look, I will become a comic book, I will become a cereal. I will have an excellent theme song. But after everything, I still love being The Flash. I mean, who wouldn't? So no matter how many hits I take, I always find a way to come back. Because the only thing standing between this city and oblivion is me. There's only one Flash. And you're looking at him.
That being said, right now is not the right time to do a Multiverse Flash movie. I would rather see some sort of acknowledgement of Ezra Miller's Flash on the Flash TV show. We could have Barry running through the Speedforce and he sees glimpses of the DCU (with Titans) and the DCEU (with Justice League). It is better done on the TV show. It is like when they saw 90s Flash on the Flash and they didn't even question it.
The scene where he pretended to be a villain? His The Chemist monologue? Chills. I would love to see him in a movie. Flash or otherwise.
