She is known for her film roles as Maud in “Saint Maud” and Dora Spenlow in “The Personal History of David Copperfield”, and in television as Mina Harker in “Dracula”, Sister Clara in “His Dark Materials”, and Galadriel in “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power”.

Morfydd Clark was born in Cardiff, Wales. While at school, Morfydd struggled with dyslexia and attention deficit disorder. It was the difficulty of reading that eventually led to the fact that she began to memorize the texts and perform from the stage. At 16, she left school and was admitted to the national youth theatre of Wales. After working there for several years, Morfydd moved to London and began her studies at the drama and art Centre.
Morfydd Clark made her television debut in 2014, performing a minor role in the New Worlds miniseries. A year later, she performed the role of Georgiana in the comedy thriller – Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, where the partners of the young actress were Lily James, Lina Hidi and Matt Smith. In 2016, Clark played a major role in the fantastic action movie The Call Up, which also starred Christopher Obie and Tom Benedict Knight. In 2019 we saw Morfydd in the role of Beth in the film Crawl which also starred the magnificent Kaya Scodelario!
